Hyvee Market Grille in Oakdale

The waitress was wonderful she recommended a delicious wine. She was very helpful and very friendly. The veggie burger was delicious. I highly recommend this place.

Outstanding food and broad variety, friendly service in a modern, casual setting. Open for all three meals seven days a week. The wine collection is impressive. It is delightful to find such a fine restaurant in an amazing grocery store!

Great food, I had the sweet chili taco and it was the best taco I've ever had before. The strawberry frappe I ordered was also very good

This is the only Hy-Vee I've been too. At first it took me a little time to understand the layout, but I really love it. They have everything we need here for whatever we need to cook. Their allergen section is amazing, they have way more in their Asian section than I was expecting, and they have great deals all the time. I really like the gas discounts. I haven't tried out the restaurant yet. Checking out has always been easy, and the staff super helpful and care a lot.

We ordered online for the first time. Our order was 20 min late. The first time they came out, they didn’t even bring out the whole order. Also, when we got home, my salad didn’t even have pecans on it, as stated on menu that it should. My husband also ordered a medium well done burger and it came to us as medium rare. Not going back.

After being a regular customer for years, I was SO DISAPPOINTED last Saturday night when dining here with a friend. No more complimentary honey rolls, which was one of the reasons we dined here, no more steak specials, and when ordering the steak anyway, my medium well steak was bloody red and was returned. The resulting replacement was less than good, and the baked potato was not hot and seemed to be left from the night before. I will not be returning, sadly, as this used to be one of my favorite places to dine.

My family and I stopped by around 3:30 to grab. Burgers for lunch, though the food was amazing, the service was not. Though we sat in front of the bar and our drinks were clearly empty for more than 10 mins, many people walked by not checking on us nor refilling our drinks. The place wasn't too full but our service was quite slow. I may consider coming back but I was disappointed by the service.

I told my friends about this place with my warmest recommendations. I visit this place often. I get very good feedback from my friends. The the cooking is great and the team is very friendly and cooperative. Every time we eat in this place we pass a pleasant evening. I warmly recommend this restaurant.

The restaurant is interested in that you pick up what you want to eat in the grocery. We picked up hot grilled chicken a salad and Coffee, paid for it at the entrance of the dining room and sat ourselves in the dining room. Great way to have good food at low cost

I regularly arrive getting some food in this place. I enjoy the swift service and well made food. I recommend this place.

The food was surprisingly good, staff was friendly and prompt. We went back the next day for breakfast. Two thumbs up.

Best eggs Benedict!!! And hash browns are amazing. Crispy and buttery. Not oily and greasy that you get at some places. And to top it off it’s only like $7, plus you can have a screwdriver or they have a great Bloody Mary bar. This is a “date morning” for me and my husband vs “date night” and we love it.

This is the first time I have been to this grocery store. I didn't know that they had a restaurant inside it. We gave it a try and the food was awesome. On Tuesday, they have $8 burgers and unlimited fries or tots which is an awesome deal. They also have a happy hour from 4-6 with 1/2 drinks and appetizers. The wonton nachos were great. I would highly recommend giving this place a shot as the prices are very low for the high quality of food you get.

We love this place. Great happy hour. Great drink specials. Friendly staff and the food is wonderful. Also, you can get something from the store and bring it in if there isn't anything you want on the menu. That makes it a perfect stop for kids.

Was basically ignored by the person who served me, today.Food was good the first time, if a little pricey. Was ignored so long today, we just left after a drink. My husband and I came here to have the all you can eat crab legs for $30. It was very good. The ayce came with a side salad, honey biscuit, and baked potato. I would say it's worth the price. We had crab legs 3x, so it was a lot and they came out steamy and warm, perfect temp. Before we ordered that, we ordered the bacon jalapenos cream cheese wontons. It was delicious. I definitely recommend all to try this appetizer. So creamy and delicious. Our waitress was nice and had our orders right. She always checked on us if we needed refills on our drinks and food. Awesome worker. I recommend this restaurant to all.

Been here 2 times. They food is good and the bloody mary is ok. Service is excellent. They are very accommodating for large groups. Like the chicken and veggies, but i think they should list the veggies as i can't stand mushrooms and would have asked for them to be taken off. Also ordered the loaded fries and they were yummy. 🍟🐓🌶

One of the best deals in town for a sit down restaurant. $5 for a slice of Cheesecake factory dessert, amazing! And have never had bad service here!

Awful, since switching to the Wahlberger menu, they've gone down hill. I hadn't eaten at their restaurant since the change, I can confidently say I'll never eat there again until something changes. I order their Southwestern style salad with chicken, can't remember the exact name but it was awful. Bland chicken, terribly odd honey mustard/vinegar sauce to go on top of it. My wife ordered onion rings, they were the worst onion rings we've ever had. They were sliced paper thin, and very lightly batterered. Impressively they managed to be the lightest battered onion rings I've ever had while also being the saltiest as well. They looked like some that should top a burger or a green bean casserole, not be a side for food. Just terrible.

How can a restaurant/bar in a store with a liquor store be out of two different types of liquor? Ordered a rumchata and hot cocoa, no rumchata. Ordered apple crown with ginger ale and you guessed it, out of apple crown royal. Seriously? Guess you lost a few dollars in sales I'll just have a diet coke. Poor management if you can't keep your bar stocked.

Unusually poor service today. My server got our order wrong, she was inpersonable, and slow. The manager tried to make it better by maki g ice cream sundaes for my kids, but slipped with the scoop and launched the ice cream bucket into the dining room. It was a class act all around...

This establishment has a very nice environment and offer a lot of options of their menu. However, I was surprised with the small portion of my Chick Parm which was not an inexpensive dish. Additionally, we waited about 15 for our drinks which I found a little ridiculous.

They are fully changing over to Wahlburgers. Food is so-so for the price.

This place is amazing!! Jan sever us and she was very nice! Recommend the all you can eat wings very crispy and juice!! The California buger was ok the Patty was thick but wasn't really digging the buns.

Very nice place to go. Prices are in line with most sit down breakfast places. Staff is super nice! I had the pancakes that were on special and wasnt overly impressed with the syrup that was supposed to be cinnamon infused. But other then that it was a great experience

Fun diverse menu with updated specials. Sometimes service is slow. Last time manager stepped in to correct an error and we left happy.

Not too thrilled with the service. We waited 30+ minutes for our food to be brought out. I had to ask the host to send our waitress to our table to pay our bill. The restaurant wasn't busy, so there was no real reason behind the slow service. The only reason I will give 2-Stars is because the manager was very nice and started our evening off with a light joke. Sadly, we won't be returning.

Always loved their sunday brunch with the buffet. It was a weekly thing for our family. The place was always packed with people and you usually had to wait a little bit for a seat, which we didn't mind at all. And at 11am we could always get the lunch menu which my son loved the sushi. Now they changed up sunday brunch. No more buffet. Only a small little menu until 2pm. The place was half empty. And i know why. We walked out and went somewhere else. Lost my business until it changes back.

Great food and service. Miss the entrees that used to be on the menu. Mostly burgers and salads. Some breakfast items. Adult grilled cheese was tasty and served on a hearty bread. I subbed sweet potato tots(delicious)for hand cut fries. Burgers are juicy and served on a bakery style bun.

Appetizers are fantastic and portions are big! Great Drink prices also.

The food is great! The service leaves a bit to be desired. They will take your drink order, which the bar is usually "running behind", and not take your food order until they bring your drink. You are then lucky if they check on how your meal is and will rarely take your empty plates. I, personally, have never been impressed with the service. I think the food(and drinks) is way too over priced for the quality of service you receieve.

We had wonderful service, and a tasty lunch. First time dining for 3 out of 5 folks.

Ordering was a little different in that you have to go into the grocery store to do it. The food was very good and it came out quickly! The staff was very friendly as well!!
